Mike Lata of The Ordinary likes R. Murphy Oyster Knives!

We are so excited to have our oyster knives  named a favorite kitchen tool by Mike Lata, James Beard Award winning Chef, and owner of The Ordinary and FIG in Charleston, SC!

See it in Food Network Magazine - April 2013 issue on newsstands now.

The Ordinary, a gorgeous oyster bar and restaurant, just opened in December 2012 and has already made the James Beard Awards Nominees list of Best New Restaurants!  Bravo and kudos to you, Mike Lata and Adam Nemirow.

Happy shuckers at The Ordinary with their R. Murphy Duxbury Oyster Knife and Little Neck Clam Knife!
R. Murphy and company with Mike Lata in December at The Ordinary - then 5 days old!
Thanks, Mike!

R. Murphy Knives Will Be at the New England Food Show!

We are excited to be exhibiting at the New England Food Show!
This is our first time at this huge event which runs in tandem with the International Boston Seafood Show.  There is a lot going on between these two shows - chefs demonstrations, speakers, new products, oyster shucking competition, educational programs, and of course, great food, wine, beer and more.

Please stop by our table # 3000 located in the New Exhibitors section right at the entrance to the show. We will have our beautiful line of cooking, slicing and boning knives on display as well as our line of shellfish knives (oyster, crab, clam, scallop) and food processing and produce knives.  These are also on display in the New Products Showcase - #3513.

Then Chefs Collaborative first-ever Trash Fish Dinner is Sunday evening, March 10!

Right after our day of exhibiting at NEFS, we head over to Area Four (can't wait) to attend this sure-to-be delicious  event.  Calling attention to under-used varieties of fish, area chefs will prepare some great dishes with fish we've never heard of, much less eaten!

We are extremely pleased to be a sponsor of this wonderfully unique event.  I believe it is entirely sold out, so we will report in next week to let you know how we liked dogfish!
