R. Murphy Knives featured in Yankee Magazine!

We are thrilled to be included in Yankee magazine's regular feature, New England's Finest!  The current issue's topic is: "The Made-in-New England Kitchen " and as usual their two-page spread is gorgeous to look at and packed with great information about locally made functional and beautiful products.  We at R. Murphy Knives are honored to be a part of it!

Since 1850, R. Murphy Knives has been creating the right tool for every task.  We manufacture an array of professional cooking knives handcrafted from both high performing carbon steel and ease-of-maintenance stainless.
Please check out our Chef's Select line of carbon steel kitchen knives - chefs, butcher, fillet, paring knives - with highly polished rosewood handles. Beautiful, perfectly balanced, and hand honed giving them an edge that delivers the sharpest cut time after time.

You can read it for yourself in the March/April issue of Yankee now available on newsstands.

Thank you Caroline Woodward and Michael Piazza for showing off our knives so beautifully!

Our New Haven oyster knife (at the bottom end of the magnet) was chosen as best oyster knife by America's Test Kitchen and featured in Cook's Illustrated magazine last Spring.  This episode is currently airing on PBS stations.  For those in the greater Boston area, it airs on WGBX, Channel 44 tonight, February 25 at 7:30pm.  It is also currently airing on the Providence PBS station, WSBE.  Check your local listings to view this episode titled, "Two Ways with Fish."

Meanwhile, pick up a copy of Yankee to see New England's Finest and read the well written, fascinating articles on The Power of Place.
